• Get to dentist.
• Wait a bit.
• Get novacaine shots.
• Wait a bit more.
• Dentist starts drilling. It hurts.
• Get more novacaine shots.
• Wait quite a bit.
• Wait more.
• Dentist finally shows up again.
• Still hurts, but not as much.
• Dentist finishes.
• Go shopping for pants.

Oh, I found three pairs of khakis that fit OK.

And the novacaine helped blunt the headache. :D
