• I've made my hotel reservations for arisia .  I think that'll be my next con, unless there's a relaxcon in MA sometime during the fall that I don't know about.  But I plan on attending more next year, especially since I could probably do 3 cons for the price of one SDCC trip.
• My uncle, aunt, and three cousins came for a visit yesterday.  MAN that was a lot of food. :)
• You know what I miss?  People greeting relatives at the arrival gate in airports.  Sure, I understand the security aspects, but it always felt _right_ for some reason.  It's not the same anymore.

It helps to come from an Italian family. They used to ALL come out. From the little old widows all wearing the SAME black dress, to the young kids who have no idea where they are, or why they had to get dressed up, but are hoping to get candy out of it. :)

Yes, I agree, it was different when we could meet our families at the arrival gates. The worst part of it all is that most of these security measures do no good.

Yay on Arisia! If I play my cards right I can get on another panel with you! Failing that, I will attend your panels and run my mouth from the cheap seats. ;)
