Well, it could be worse ... you could resemble Michael Keaton.
Clooney's a finer actor than people realize. Take a look at
Solaris
if you haven't done so yet. I think he and Soderbergh make a brilliant team.

It isn't a matter of the original film being superior, either - Soderbergh's adaptation of the book has its own reasons for reccomendation.
