Ah. In that case, yes, the equivalent would be the as yet unfilmed Coming of Ra.

Though Stargate Universe seems to have a fair amount of Stargate 90210 built into it. So far I've seen very little about that new version that appeals to me in the slightest. Robert Carlyle is a good actor, but not well known in the U.S., but his inclusion alone is not enough to offset all the Angsty Hip Young Things who will "just happen" to get caught up in one of the most ridiculous premises ever put forth. Frankly, the show has very little to do with Stargate at all and the name is obviously being used to sucker in the unwary appeal to the existing fanbase.

Par for the course for SyFy, then.

BTW, did you know Shanks did some Stargate audios?

Yep! I've got the first of the two, Shell Game, and will be getting the second one soon. It's like a radio play in that each has two people speaking in it - one does the narration and most of the voices, then there is a second character voiced by the other actor. There are sound effects and some back ground music.

I'm going to Vancouver next week for the big Stargate Convention and meeting up with friends from all over. I plan to get the next audio-play there.

Cool. I came across them by accident earlier today, and the first thing that came into my head was "Does Cats know about these?" *grin*

Hee! Glad you thought of me - I'd rather hear about something I already know than miss out on some good stuff!
