Journey to the Center of 3D

Took my dad to see Journey to the Center of the Earth today.

The plot, what there was of it, basically followed the book (but was not an adaptation of it. It's more of a "what if Verne was writing non-fiction?" thing). The characters followed predictable arcs, including a last-minute "surprise" that was pretty much telegraphed.

That being said, the 3D technology used in the film was pretty cool, and actually worked with my funky vision (unlike the old-school red-green glasses). As a showcase of the technology, the movie succeeded completely. As great cinema... not so much :-)

If you used "Direct Fulfillment", that is.

The order number in the notification e-mail isn't the one to use.  Instead, look on the receipt, just above the shipping information, and only use the last 5 digits.  Also, use the ZIP code of the store (also on the receipt) not your home ZIP.

It won't make the wait shorter, but it will give you something to look at. :)
